SOMMERTAG recordings

Oliver and Richard met JOHN WALKER early May in Mühlacker, where John and his wife Cynthia were on vacation and staying with their friends (and webmasters of John's homepage) Uschi and Lothar. During a few pleasant rounds of coffee and pie we discussed our musical projects, the soundtrack and recording techniques. We continued our talks about music during a nice dinner at a local restaurant and returned home late in the evening. Time passed too quickly, but it was a useful visit and we discussed not only John's vocal contribution on the soundtrack, but there might also be something more in the future... Stay tuned!

The soundtrack is currently taking shape. Especially the guest performances by CLARA ENGEL put a smile on our faces at every spin :-) Clara is really an outstanding singer, musician, poet... artist. We hope we'll hear much more of her. And we would love to work with her again in the future.

The editing of the film is halfway done, which means that the release date in autumn still stands. Heiko will visit Oliver in July with the finished material for viewing.

THE STALKER BROTHERS update

Oliver's side project THE STALKER BROTHERS is also becoming more concrete. Together with Katie, Alex and Marc from the band CHARLETT SCHWARZ, Oliver is working on personal interpretations of songs by SCOTT WALKER and THE WALKER BROTHERS. The tracks "Farmer in the city" and "Face on breast" are almost ready. They will eventually be released on 7" vinyl in a very limited edition (max. 100 copies).

STRANGE ATTRACTOR guest performances

Richard and his band STRANGE ATTRACTOR are expanding their list of cult star guests with the appearance of WINSTON TONG (TUXEDOMOON) and DAVID J (BAUHAUS, LOVE & ROCKETS) on their upcoming album. They both contributed their voice and lyrics. Strange Attractor will also tour again in november. Details, songs and updates can be found on their MySpace page: www.myspace.com/attractor.
